Why doesn’t green tea count toward the minimum water requirements when on the Atkins diet?

Just Walk Away asked:

I 'm. on the Atkins diet. One of the requirements is to drink 64 ounces of water every day. Decaffeinated tea is allowed on the diet, but there is a message that says that any tea drink that should not count toward the 64 ounces. I drink green tea of decaf and I was wondering why I can 't count towards the total amount of water that is required?

El té verde tiene un efecto diurético moderado y en realidad orinar más líquido del que lo puso en la deshidratación.
